So I want to encourage you and I want to say this, Richard, God bless you.  Thank you for your gift.  And I know right now that he’s ministering around the world now doing the Oral Roberts Evangelistic Association ministry, going to many different countries.  And he’ll come to churches, and now you’re able to freely minister.

And I’m just so thrilled to see you where God has you right now.  And you see his address right there.  Pray for Dr. Richard and his lovely wife Lindsay and his family.  What God is doing is wonderful.  And if you’ve gotten touched today, get on the phone, call us.

RON: Richard, bless you, brother.  What a joy to have you.

RR: Hallelujah, Ron, I’m glad to be at Cornerstone.

RON: Well, I tell you one thing right now, look at this.  I like it.  You’re having an input already.

RR: If I was doing The Hour of Healing tonight, I would be—  Yeah, but you’ve just got the tie.  You’ve got to be in jeans, you’ve got to be in—  I know we’re in Pittsburgh, but this Oklahoma boy, I was raised on a ranch, you know, and I’m in boots or cockroach kickers is what we used to call them, get those cockroaches in the corner.

RON: I just have to ask this, how is Richard Roberts doing?

RR: Richard Roberts is fine.  I have been on vacation for the last five days with my family.  I have ridden every roller coaster Walt Disney has ever made.  And yesterday I was upside down.  I was sideways, and I wasn’t sure which way I was coming and my kids got me off those rides.

But we took a little five-day R&R with our family.  And people need to do that.  You need to spend some special time with your family.  And so we were with the mouse yesterday.  And we flew up here to be a part of this tonight, and I’m so glad.  I’ve got a Disney shirt on.  And they didn’t make me put on a coat and tie.  Mickey Mouse, right there it is.  M-i-c-k-e-y  M-o-u-s-e.

RON: I’ve got to say this real quickly because we want you to get started here.  But years ago, one of the first times you and I worked together was doing the inauguration for the second term of John Ashcroft in Jefferson City.  You graciously came down, and we aired it nationally.  And I don’t know whether you noticed or not, but I found out later, that President Bush, Sr. watched that and gave the invitation to John and that’s where Ashcroft and him came together.

richard roberts on August 25th, 2011

PHIL: Well, I want to just turn you loose right now, and right now there are thousands of people that the doctors have given up on.  And they’re watching because there’s no hope.  I believe that God has given you not only the gift, but the word.  So let’s just release the word of healing.

RR: Mark 5 is the story of this woman.  And you just mentioned people without hope.  This woman was without hope.  The Bible says that she had spent all of her money on doctors, and nothing could be done.  The doctors had, no doubt, done everything they knew to do.  And in those days, they didn’t have the medical experts that they have today.

She’d spent all that she had and was nothing bettered.  But she heard about Jesus.  Thank God for TBN, where you hear about Jesus 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  She heard.  And then hearing produced something that she said.

You can’t just hear the word.  The word has to become a word of faith to you.  It has to come out of your mouth.  And she said, “If I can only touch the border of His garment.”

Pastor Phil, the Jewish theologians teach us that Jesus, who was a rabbi, Raboni, wore a type of prayer shawl that had tassels at the base.  And the tassels were symbolic of the law of Moses, which was the Word of God.

richard roberts on August 18th, 2011

PHIL: The audience knows a whole lot about you and a little bit about me, and the little bit they know about me is I’m really strong into legacy.  And I really believe that God strategically has predetermined when we would be born, where we would be born, by whom we would be born so that His ongoing purpose can be revealed.  And you carry such a great mantle of healing.

Now let me just say this.  We’ve had you at our church, and you carry the gift with such grace.  I mean, when you walk in this kind of power that God uses you, and the gift of healing is a powerful gift, you can build a lot of hype around it and you can create a lot of personality distractions when you have that gift.

But I love the way that you handle it with grace, with humility, and even with humor.  You disarm people as you minister.  When did you know this gift was on you, and I want people to kind of know the heart behind this gift that’s on you.

RR:I don’t know that I knew as a boy.  I think my father knew.  He prophesied over me when I was a teenager, but I was not interested in God.  I wanted to be a nightclub entertainer and a professional athlete, you know.

You know, I told my dad to get the hell out of my life.  And he said, “That’s what I’m trying to do.  I’m trying to get the hell out of your life.”

But I traveled with him as a boy, and when he would lay hands on the sick, oftentimes he would call me up and have me lay hands on them with him.  And oftentimes when he would walk in prayer lines, especially on Sunday afternoon, which was the last service of his crusades, he would lay hands on everyone who had not received the prayer of faith during the week, or the two weeks.

And I remember once walking the prayer line with him in Trenton, New Jersey, when he laid hands on 9,000 in one afternoon.  That has an effect upon you.

And I began to dream of a healing ministry.  Now it was unusual.  I didn’t want God, but I wanted the healing ministry.  But it wasn’t until I was in my late teenage years that I came to Christ, and God put that dream and vision of a healing ministry in my life.

Then Lindsay and I, my wife Lindsay is my biggest encourager.  She’s my partner for life in marriage.  But she said, “You can do it.”  You know, you either get a, “You can’t do it,” or you get, “You can do it.”  And Lindsay gave me the “You can do it,” and that dream that was in my heart since a little boy became a reality.  And the gifts of the Spirit began to flow in my life.

But I take it back to those days of my father and also traveling with Kathryn Kuhlman when that ministry was birthed in my spirit.  It’s got to be birthed inside your spirit before it comes out.

But in those days of being with my father and being with Kathryn and then when Lindsay and I married 28 years ago, the gifts of the Spirit began to flow in my life.  And I thank God for it.

But you don’t have to have hype when you have Jesus, when you have the Healer, when the Healer is present.  And the Healer is present here.  You could feel His presence when we walked into this place.  He’s here now.

And finally I said, “Mrs. Chiluba, I must deliver the Word of the Lord.”  And I felt a hand tugging me on my coat.  The minister said,  ”Not now.  Not now.  Don’t mess this up.”  And I said, “I have to be obedient.”

That was the operation of the word of knowledge–I GAVE that word.  And Mrs. Chiluba burst into tears.  She said, “There’s no way you could have known what I went through between my third and fourth child.  I was hospitalized in South Africa.  I developed a stomach problem; I’m still not well.”

I laid hands on her and instantly God healed her; she confirmed it with her doctor.  That was an operation of the word of knowledge.  It’s supernatural information.

You say, “You mean that will flow through me?”  Yes!  If you’ll say, “God, what are You trying to say to me?”  When these gifts come, when they begin to operate through you, if you’ll say, “God, what are You trying to say?  What do You want me to do?”  If you’ll pray, I promise you God will open a door.  Oftentimes it will be a word, you’ll be in a crowd and you don’t know exactly who it is.  But if you’ll say,  ”God, show me who You want me to deliver this to?”  He’ll show you every time.  These gifts will flow through you.  Turn to the person next to you and say, “These will flow through you.”  (RESPONSE)

The third is the gift of discerning of spirits.  The gift of discerning of spirits–that’s the third of the revelation gifts.  Now I want you to notice that I did not say, “The gift of discerning people’s faults.”  (LAUGHTER)  That’s not what this is about.  This is about discerning in the spirit realm.

The discerning of spirits allows you to discern in the spirit realm.  This gift flows through women more than men.  Why?  Because women are more emotionally made and they are more sensitive to the Holy Spirit than we men.

The gifts of the discerning of spirits operate very big through my wife, Lindsay.  And I’ve told people all over the world, that when it comes to hiring high positions in the university and in our ministry, I wouldn’t dream of having an interview without her sitting beside me, because the gift of discernment flows big time through her.

Look, I can make enough mistakes on my own.  I need help.  The gift of discernment allows you to see into the supernatural realm. That’s what happened with the apostle Paul, in Acts chapter 16, when he was on his way to church to pray.

And the woman who had a spirit of divination–she was possessed by the devil.  She kept saying, “There go the servants of the most high God.”  And one day Paul became grieved in his spirit.  He turned to the woman and spoke to the spirit.  Paul discerned the origination of that spirit.  And he commanded it to come out, and he did.  Paul discerned that through the operation of the gift of discernment.

And, angels, right now in the name of Jesus, we dispatch you to go bring in our goods, bring in our goods, bring in our goods, bring in our goods!  We call it in from the north, south, east, and west.

Take your hands off of our children.  Take your hands off of our inheritance.  Take your hands off of our authority. Take your hands off of our country.  Take your hands off of our government.  And in the name of Jesus, take your hands off of me.

Let’s make it clear that we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.  Anything and everything we have need of comes to us now according to the Word of God.  We receive it.  It’s ours, it’s bought, it’s paid for, and we call it in.

In the name of Jesus, satan, we break your authority off of us by rebuking you and demand our Bible right that you flee in Jesus” name.

MYLES MUNROE: Hallelujah.  Take somebody’s hands right now.  Wherever any two shall touch and agree, it says it shall be done of our Father who is in heaven.  You are a citizen of the kingdom of heaven.  You have rights to receive.  Citizens don’t beg; they demand their rights.

Whatever you’ve heard tonight, every profession of faith over you, demand it right now in Jesus” name.  Lift your voice and say, “I deserve to be healed.  I deserve to be set free.  I deserve to be blessed.  I deserve to be anointed.”

Father, in the name of Jesus, healing is the children’s bread.  It belongs to us.  Healing IS the children’s bread. So, Father, we don’t ask anymore.  We receive right now.

Oh, come on, receive it in the name of Jesus.  Open your mouth and say, “I receive it!  I receive what I’m here for. It is mine!  I demand it!  I receive it, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Thank You, Father.  Thank You, Father.

Now lift your hands and begin to praise Him.  Open your mouth again and thank Him.  Healing, take place.  Baptism in the Holy Ghost.  Preach Jesus in the mighty name of Jesus.   Father, thank You for healing in marriages, thank You for healing in relationships, thank You for healing in the ministry.  Thank You, Lord, for healing in every area, Father.  We release Your people to receive.

Lift you voice and shout it today.  He is our faithful God.  He is faithful!  He is faithful in the mighty name of Jesus.

CHARLES GREEN:

Hallelujah.  It is a night for tumors to be destroyed by the power of the living God.  We do not come to beg, but we come to declare that tumors shall die so that the people of God shall live. We come to speak the word to arteries that have been clogged.  Be loosed, be opened in the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God.

There is someone who has been told that you have an aneurysm, and you’ve been told that it’s a very dangerous thing.  But when you go back to the doctor, when they check you again, it will be gone in the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God.

Oh, let arthritis be healed now.  Let joints be loosened.  Let men and women be declared free tonight.  Cry out with your voice.  Cry out and say, “I am free.  I am free.  I am delivered.  I am healed in the name of Jesus Christ.  I declare my healing, I declare my freedom in Jesus” name. Amen.

There’s a supply of illegal and illicit drugs in this country because there is a demand for it.  If America were to decide, “We’re going to put an end to our drug problem,? the demand would go down and the supply would dwindle.

But because there is a demand for it, no drug enforcement agency can stop it from crossing our borders, no matter how hard the government tries.  And they’ll never stop it as long as there is a demand.  There will always be a supply.

And it’s the same way with the anointing.  It’s exactly the same way in the Spirit.  There is a reservoir.  There is a cistern, we might say.  There is a pool of anointing that’s available.

Those people in Nazareth had it standing right there in church, and they rejected Him.  They said, “Wait a minute. I’ll wait till somebody else comes along, someone else who has a better pedigree, someone else who’s the right color, the right shape, the right form, with the right word, someone with the right translation.”

And we get caught up in our agendas.  Let me tell you what the agenda is.  The agenda is, Don’t leave here without what you came for.

ICBM was not formed so we could come here and find someplace to preach three weeks from now.  We came here to get a miracle.  Some of you are absolutely desperate for a word from God, and you’re beginning to get it.   Three or four of you shouted out in the earlier services,  ”I got what I came for.”  I’m believing that before this conference is over, everyone will be beginning to shout, “I got what I came for.”  Will somebody give the Lord praise? …APPLAUSE…

My heart’s for miracles.  My heart’s for the touch of God.  My heart’s for educating young men and women and sending them to the nations of the earth.  My heart is full tonight.  I have the joy of the Lord, which is my strength.

I thank God for it.  I know why I’m here. I know why I was born.  I remember 1967.  I remember how I met Christ.  I remember how after I returned to ORU to finish my education how I met Kenneth and how I heard the word of prophecy that he gave over me while I was at that other university.  I remember those days.

richard roberts on July 12th, 2011

A turkey farmer called his animal specialist in the city and said, “Can you come out to my farm?  I’ve got a very unusual bird in my barnyard.”  The man came out, and he saw a group of turkeys, and he saw a bird that was a little different than a turkey.  And the man said, “I don’t know what you’re doing with that bird, but that’s not a turkey.  That’s an eagle.”

The man said, “Well, it can’t be an eagle.  He clucks and digs for worms like my turkeys.”  “Well, it’s an eagle.”  “Well, how do you know?”  “Well, I’ll show you.”  He took the eagle over to a telephone and climbed up and let the eagle go, and the eagle wouldn’t fly.  Took him over to the barn and carried him up on top of the roof and let him go, and the bird wouldn’t fly.  Took him over to the hillside and released him, and the eagle wouldn’t fly.

Brought him back to the barnyard and once again he ducked his head and began to cluck and squawk and dig worms with the other turkeys.  Are you going to be an eagle or are you going to be a turkey?  Are you going to take what God has deposited in you during this conference?  Are you going to launch out?

Jesus said to Peter, “Launch out into the deep,? because out in the deep, Lindsay, it’s not ankle deep.  It’s not knee deep. It’s not waist deep.  It’s not shoulder deep.  It’s deep.  It’s over your head.

I remember I used to sing a song, “They baptized Jesse Taylor in Cedar Creek last Sunday.  Jesus gained a soul, and satan lost a good right arm.  They all cried hallelujah when Jesse’s head went under because this time he went under for the Lord.”

How about you?  I want to go under for the Lord.  but heaven help the devil when I come up because I’m going to make the devil mad every day of my life.  How about you?

I’d like to ask you eagles to stand this morning.  Stretch your hands out toward me in the name of Jesus.  And I want you to pray this prayer after me.  O God, You’ve laid something on my heart, and I’m not going to be disobedient.  I’m going to be obedient.  I will do what You say.  I will launch out into the deep and let down my nets for a catch.  I will not miss my hour of visitation.  I will not be like the city of Jerusalem who Jesus cried over.  But I will not miss it.

richard roberts on July 4th, 2011

Father, we praise You and we worship You and give You honor and glory, in Jesus” name.  Hallelujah!  Put your hands together.  Give the Lord a handclap of praise.  (Applause)  Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

Open your Bibles this morning to Deuteronomy, chapter 32. Deuteronomy, chapter 32, and verse 11.  “As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings, so the Lord alone did lead Moses, and there was no strange god with him.”

Now turn over to Isaiah, chapter 40.  Isaiah, chapter 40, and verse 31.  “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.  They shall mount up with wings as eagles.  They shall run and not be weary.  They shall walk and not faint.”

Seven years ago when it appeared that I was going to be nominated and elected as the second president of Oral Roberts University, I said to a number of the members of our board, and I said to my father who was ending a long tenure as the founding president, I said, “I give you a word of warning.  If you elect me as president, I am going to change-one of my first acts, I am going to change the name of our athletic teams at ORU.”  We’d always been known as the ORU Titans.  I’d never liked that name. I said, “If you elect me, I’m going to change it.”  And they said, “Well, you’ll be president.  You’ll be able to do whatever you want.”

And so after I was elected, I went before our student body and said, “We’re going to change the name.  We’ll no longer be known in the athletic world as the ORU Titans for all of our men’s and women’s athletic teams on the NCAA Division I level.”  We had a contest on campus, and I put together a panel of students and faculty and others, even alumni, and asked them to submit names to me to rename our athletic teams.

And five names were submitted to me, and I prayed over the five and the one that I selected, the one that I thought was the most appropriate was the name Golden Eagles.  First of all, I’ve always admired eagles.  And, secondly, I love gold.  I like gold and I like eagles.  And I thought Golden Eagles would be an appropriate name for the athletic teams of Oral Roberts University.

Carlton, get her testimony.  Billy Joe, get a microphone. (Tongues)  We’ll continue to pray in a moment.  In fact, we’ll pray right now.  In the authority of Jesus’ name, I come against the problem in your ankle.  Ah, ah, ah, you fell on your ankle. You twisted it and sprained it, and God’s healing it right now in Jesus’ name.  He’s healing it right.  There’s healing going into your ankle right now, in the authority of Jesus’ name.

Cancer, you foul tormenting thing, in the authority of the name of Jesus Christ, I command it to go.  If God can heal prostate cancer in Canada live on television, He can heal it here tonight.  I speak to the leukemia.  I speak to the Hodgkins disease.  I speak to the tumor.  I speak to that mass.  In the authority of the name of Jesus, I command it to … and it’s going, in Jesus’ name.  There is a tumor that is dissolving right now in the authority of Jesus’ name.  It’s dissolving.  You need to feel.  It’s dissolving right now in Jesus’ name.  Sixteen of you are getting healed in your stomach right now in Jesus’ name.

I speak to backs.  You who have pain in your back, in the authority of Jesus’ name, lay your hand on your back.  In Jesus’ name, Lord, I ask You to … a-ha, seventeen people getting healed right now in your back.  Healing, come.  Aren’t you glad you don’t have to beg God for healing?  There’s an anointing for healing tonight.  Seventeen of you getting healed right now.  The power of God’s going in.  Billy Joe, what happened to her?

BJD: This is Mary Ann from Miami.  For three years she’s had a knee with cartilage gone, both knees.  The only way she could be healed, the doctor said, was with a knee replacement.  She stood on faith, came tonight.  The healing power of God shot through her.  She can run.  She can walk.

RR: What did you feel up there a minute ago?

MARY ANN: I didn’t really feel anything.  I was just going by faith because it was me, three years of my knee, and I came here believing God to heal me.

RR: And when you stepped out, you found it was different?

MARY ANN: No, it was still pain, but I don’t care.

RR: Oh, still pain.

MARY ANN: I’m still believing God for it, because that was exactly my description.
